The YWeLP project met in Helsinki 19.-23.2.2018: Digital Youth Work and H5P

Youth Work eLearning Partnership (YWeLP) -project

There was an intensive project meeting in Helsinki 19.-23.2.2018. YWeLP partners are from Estonia, Ireland, Finland, Northern Ireland and Australia. They are collaborating with each other and with the youth work sector in each country to develop and deliver the project. Humak UAS is the Finnish partner of this project.

The thematic modules of project have been chosen to align with Erasmus + priorities in the field of youth and address continuing practice development (CPD) needs that resonate across European and global youth work contexts.

YWeLP thematic modules are:
1. Ethical and Professional Youth Work. [Codes of Ethics, Human Rights, professional association, reflective practice and supervision] 2. Youth work in the Digital World [ICT in youth work, online and virtual youth work)
3. Youth work in Contested and Diverse Spaces [multi-cultural and cross community youth work] 4. Communicating Youth Work – [writing for the profession, outcomes, evidence and impact, practitioner & collaborative. research] 5.Youth Participation [Promoting participation and valuing informal and non-formal education in youth work]

Helsinki meeting focused partly on digital youth work 

YWeLP project had its second workflow week in Helsinki during February. One aim was to get perspective of the Digital Youth Work done in Finland. One content was to get to know different technics which has to do with Micro Learning Units. These Units will be created during the projects 5 items.
